What is Soldering?
Soldering is a process of joining 2 metals together using melted solder. The process uses a "soldering iron" to melt the solder used as a fill material. This is normally used in creating an electrical connection.
Soldering is a fun hobby and is a great skill to learn, along with basic electronics. These skills can help in many areas with multiple applications.
This workshop is suitable for ages 10 and up. Younger kids may be available to attend with adult participation (case-by-case basis).
While soldering is usually very safe, we will be working with high temperatures and basic wire cutter. Safety precautions are discussed and enforced during the workshop. Attendance at the workshop is your agreement that you understand these precautions.
This workshop will be offered 2-3 times per year. If your group is interested in a special session, please contact me for details and group pricing. Session size is limited to 10 persons.
